Courses in Nature Photography

I teach both long and short courses in nature photography and from time to time I lead field courses and photo safaris (See www.photosafaris.se )

I am course director for the following two course programmes, where the language of instruction is Swedish:

Ålands folkhögskola, Naturfotolinjen

This is a one-year full time residential course in nature photography and outdoor pursuits. The course is based at the Åland Folk High School in the idyllic Åland Islands between Sweden and Finland. Much time is spent in the field and courses in techniques like kayak paddling, rock climbing and long-distance skating are included. Running from August to May, the course is non-vocational and attracts mainly younger participants (18-35), although there is no upper age limit. Last date for application 30.4. Axxell utbildning AB, Nafo - Yrkesutbildning för naturfotografer

This is a 2,5 year part time course for adults, preparing for the Finnish vocational qualification of Nature Photographer. The course is based on the island of Kimito in southern Finland, but most of the courses and workshops are held in the field, visiting different environments as far afield and varied as the deserts of southern Africa and the icebergs of Greenland.
